# Appearance and guided assistance

> Switch between light and dark mode and turn guided next-step tips on or off.

Two switches on the **Settings** page change how Re:InvestorHub looks and how much it guides you.

## Dark mode

1. **Open Theme**

   In the sidebar, select **Settings**, then go to the **Theme** section ("Choose your preferred theme").

2. **Turn on Dark Mode**

   Switch on **Dark Mode**: "Use dark theme across the application". Switch it off to return to the light theme.

> **What you should see:** the whole app changes theme straight away.

Your choice is saved to your account, so it applies the next time you sign in, including on another device.

## Guided assistance

Guided assistance shows next-step tips and invitations to talk to an AI coach as you move deals through their stages. In **Settings**, the **Guided Assistance** section describes it as "Next-step suggestions and AI coach prompts as you move deals through the lifecycle."

To hide them, switch off **Guided assistance**: "Turn off to hide all guided next-step tips and coach invitations across the app." Switch it on again to bring them back. It is on by default.

> **Note:** Guided assistance only hides the tips and prompts. You can still open an AI coach yourself at any time.
