Task statuses

What each task status and priority means on the Tasks page, and how overdue tasks and reminders work.

Every task on the Tasks page has a Status and a Priority. You set both when you add a task with Add Task, and you can change them later by editing the task.

Status What it means
To Do The default for a new task. Work has not started.
In Progress You are working on it.
Completed The task is done.
Blocked You cannot move forward until something else happens.

Use the Status filter on the Tasks page to show one status at a time.

Tasks use Low, Medium, High and Urgent. The Priority filter works the same way as the status filter.

A task is overdue when its Due Date has passed and it is not Completed. When you have any, a red banner at the top of the Tasks page shows how many, for example 2 Overdue Tasks.

Each task can also be linked to a Related Deal and a Related Project, both optional. You receive reminders about tasks as the due date approaches and when a task becomes overdue, depending on your notification settings.
