Manage tasks and reminders
Add tasks with a status, priority, and due date, link them to a deal or project, and get reminders as they come due.
The Tasks page is your to-do list for deals, projects, and everything around them. Give a task a due date and Re:InvestorHub reminds you as it gets close.
Add a task
Section titled “Add a task”In the sidebar, select Tasks, then select Add Task.
Enter a Task Title (required), such as “Schedule property inspection”. Add a Description if it helps.
Choose a Status and a Priority, then pick a Due Date.
| Field | Choices |
|---|---|
| Status | To Do, In Progress, Completed, Blocked |
| Priority | Low, Medium, High, Urgent |
Choose a Related Deal (Optional) or Related Project (Optional) so the task shows where it belongs. Add an Estimated Cost (Optional) and Notes if you want.
Select Create Task.
Work through your tasks
Section titled “Work through your tasks”- Search tasks… finds a task by text, and the Status and Priority filters narrow the list. Switch between card view and list view with the buttons at the right.
- A red banner reads Overdue Task with a count when tasks are past due. A yellow one reads Task Due Today when something is due today. Overdue dates show in red.
- Open a task’s menu and select Edit to change any field, including the status as work moves from To Do to In Progress to Completed. In list view, the Project column shows linked projects.
To act on many tasks at once, tick their checkboxes (or the box that selects all tasks on the page). Two buttons appear: Mark N done and Delete N.
Reminders
Section titled “Reminders”Tasks with a due date send you reminders automatically. You get one reminder 7 days before, 3 days before, and 1 day before the due date, and another when the task is overdue. Each stage is sent once per task, and a completed task stops reminding you. Reminders go to the person who created the task, not to everyone on the team, and a task needs a due date to send any. This applies to tasks created from this release on.
You control how reminders reach you in Settings:
- Daily Reminder Time (in your profile) sets the hour you receive daily task reminders, in your local timezone.
- Task Reminders (under Notification Preferences) has separate In-App and Email switches.
Reminders in the app appear under the bell. See Notifications.
